HiSRC detects local user conditions before delivering an image. If the user has a slow connection, if he uses a mobile device, if his screen resolution is low, or if he has resized his browser, HiSRC will deliver an appropriate image version.
Inspired by the now deprecated "lowsrc" attribute for image tags, HiSRC allows developers to specify different versions with each embedded image.
He can add low-resolution versions of an image, Retina ready photos, and images at a lower quality in case of bandwidth problems.
Once everything setup properly, HiSRC will help administrators optimize the way images are delivered for their site's users.
A demo is included with the HiSRC download package.
